It is absolutely fabulous to hear the music from the Romantic period played on an instrument from those days. Original or a copy. Romantic guitars can be made as an exact copy of an original (Panormo, Stauffer or others) or one can permit oneself a little more freedom and make an instrument adjusted to the player and for example make the neck a little wider. Some 19th century guitars have very narrow necks.
The price mentioned is an example and goes for a Panormo copy in spruce (soundboard) and maple (back and sides, head), ebony fingerboard and bridge, fine machines and made to measure case.
