A 7-string guitar will give you more flexibility in transcriptions. The extra bass can be a D, C or B.
The head is just slightly wider than the head of a 6-string guitar and not longer. This way the extra weight of the head is limited to a minimum. Standard tuners can be used (Sloane, Gotoh, Rogers or others). The extra tuner in the centre is a banjo tuner with 4 to 1 ratio and works very accurate.

8 or 10-stringed instruments can also be made, please inquire.
